I tried this brand of chocolate because I looked at nutrition information and these products are a wonderful source of iron. When you have fibroids, you lose a lot of blood and menstruation is heavy. And when you lose a lot of blood it can cause anemia. So I have to keep my iron up so I can produce red blood cells. This brand is also wonderful if you are trying to lose weight and eat healthy. After my heart attack, this product has been one of my regular choices of healthy eating. I love this brand! I would eat three squares a day. This is also teaching me how to eat chocolate in moderation. Both Ghirardelli Twilight Delight and Midnight Reverie has not been processed with alkali. Yay!!!
